Trinity May Ball 2017

Trinity May Ball is one of the most impressive Oxbridge Balls, and is now recruiting for 2017!
Our workers are the backbone of this large scale operation, and we are looking for charismatic and motivated people to join our team. You, as a worker, are instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of the Ball. To be part of such a magnificent event as Trinity May Ball is a unique experience, and we are looking for energetic people to form our team, and to contribute towards creating an exciting atmosphere for workers and guests alike.
Experience is not necessary, but all roles do require diligence and the desire to work as part of a team. Good applicants will be invited to interview, and impressive applicants will be invited to interview for managerial roles. Jesus May Ball 2017 Student Ents Auditions

Jesus May Ball 2017 Student Ents Auditions are now open! From 10am-7pm on Thursday 1st December and Friday 2nd December we will be holding auditions in the Picken Room at Jesus College to discover this year’s talent. 

We are looking for anything entertaining, interesting and inspiring. This means that rock, jazz, pop or country artists, stand-up comedians, the next Houdini, mime artists and so many others, WE WANT YOU TO AUDITION. 

All you have to do is sign up for one of the time slots on the link below and fill out a few details for us. If you would like to send any additional footage or recordings to demonstrate your talent please do so to student.ents@jesusmayball.com, along with your contact details and act name. 

The sign-up deadline is Saturday 26th November, so hurry and sign up!

Each role requires a wide range of skills, and above all we need people who are committed to making sure the John’s Ball remains one of the best parties in the world. We emphasise that you do not have to have been to a May Ball before to apply. 

If you are considering applying but have questions about what the roles entail, we encourage you to come to our open information sessions in the college bar for the chance to chat informally with our Executive Committee:

Sidney Sussex May Ball is still looking for a team of workers who will help the Committee in the process of cleaning up the college after the Ball. The pay for working approximately 4 hours after the Ball is £35.

Attend as a worker instead! 2nd half workers attend the ball as a guest for the first half of the night, with queue jump, and work the second half for a price of £67.50.
