At Elixirr we believe in challenging the norm to make things happen; that’s what makes us the Challenger Consultancy. We are looking for talented graduates to join our close-knit team of consultants to deliver exceptional quality to our clients. The opportunities for growth and fast acceleration at Elixirr are endless as well as the opportunities to work on exciting international projects that could take you anywhere from San Francisco to South Africa. If you’re an ambitious self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, why not come along to our networking drinks to find out if Elixirr is the right company for you.
This informal, drop-in drinks reception is an excellent opportunity for aspiring applicants to meet our consultants, analysts and graduate recruitment team and ask any questions about Elixirr, the recruitment process or general life as a Consultant. At Elixirr we are looking for a diverse set of minds; we encourage all students from a wide range of subject areas and year groups to attend the event regardless of previous experience in consulting.

Inside Uni

Hey everyone!
This non-profit, student led project aims to make the Cambridge application more transparent for everyone. Ultimately, we want to make sure all prospective students can approach the application with the same information.
We’re building a free website (http://insideuni.org) to bring together crowd-sourced student advice on interviews, application preparation, colleges, scholarships and existing access schemes. There’s tons of great stuff out there so we want to help the students who need it find it (and make sure they don’t have to resort to unreliable online forums for advice).
The project is growingly rapidly every week – every student on this page is part of the journey so we’ll keep you posted on progress.

University Societies Opportunity

Nominations are sought for membership of the Technical Committee of the Societies Syndicate.

The Technical Committee meets twice a term and considers applications for financial support from Clubs and Societies. The Junior Proctor chairs the Committee. Membership includes twelve members of the University in statu pupillari, one appointed by each of twelve societies.

The person nominated by your society should, ideally, have some knowledge of the workings of clubs and societies, and particularly their financial arrangements, but neither is essential. The junior members on the Committee do not represent their society as such, but ensure that the composition of the Committee reflects the range of societies eligible for financial assistance from the Syndicate, and members generally find their year’s service enjoyable and interesting.

The first of next year’s meetings is due to take place on 30 October 2018. We therefore ask that nominations be sent to societiessyndicate@admin.cam.ac.uk by Monday 8 October 2018.

This is an opportunity for your members to gain experience of serving on a University committee, whilst also playing a useful role supporting the work of student clubs and societies.
